About Nayi Disha Resource Centre

Nayi Disha Resource Centre is a non-profit organization, that provides information, peer-support and hope to families affected by intellectual and developmental disabilities such as Down Syndrome, Autism.

Problem

31 million* families of children with intellectual disabilities need information and support in India
1-5% have access any kind of intervention for their children
Overburdened health and education systems are unable to cater to their needs
Children miss out on essential services and are unable to attain their true potential and participate productively in the society.

Our Solution

Nayi Disha Resource Centre has created this unique online resource platform to bridge the gap and provide holistic support to families in need. Our goal is to empower families across India with free and easy access to information and create thriving communities for peer support across the country for an inclusive society. Empowered and supported families will ensure their loved ones receive the best possible care and access to services they require and enable them to reach their true potential.
