Why Donate?

Despite 50 million children at risk of intellectual disabilities (ID) in India, there is a severe lack of awareness and information is not easily available. Families needing information have no support and run pillar to post leading to delayed diagnosis, reduced uptake of services. They are unable to actively contribute to the child’s development and instead fall for quacks which does more harm. We are changing that by building sustainable support systems for families for we believe that empowering families is the most optimal approach to help children with intellectual disabilities attain their true potential.

We’re a nonprofit that relies on support from people like you. We believe that resources about developmental disabilities should remain free and open source so that families get the support they deserve.

Where your donation goes?

We run on modest budget and yet maintain the highest quality. Every rupee you donate with help us scale our reach and build a national resource which does not exist. Your donation will be utilised towards:

Programs:
We run parent training programs, awareness events and host support group meets for families. We create information articles in local language information with highest quality. We conduct research and surveys to curate other resources for families.

Technology:
Website hosting, maintenance and development.

Human Resources:
Our full-time staff and consultants work hard to make this happen.

All Indian donors are eligible to receive 50% tax exemption under section 80G of the Income Tax rules.
