Key Takeaways:

We are currently working on the key takeaways for this article. They will be available soon.

While therapy intervention at any age can prove to be effective for a child, the critical window that early childhood offers from birth till 6years of age is most crucial for a child with developmental challenges. Intervention works at any age & is important even if started later. Hence, the sooner the child’s diagnosis is confirmed, the sooner suitable intervention strategies maybe recommended for your child’s benefit. In this video, Clinical Psychologist and Dyslexia Therapist, Afshan Jabeen speaks about the critical need for early diagnosis so intervention can immediately follow to help the child with his/her developmental challenges. It is also crucial to remember that results from early intervention take time & require consistency of practice to see visible results in a child. So, please do not give up too soon.
