DeenDayal Upadhyaya National Institute

Pt. Deendayal Upadhyaya National Institute for Persons With Physical Disabilitesis in Hyderabad. They handle intellectual and developmental conditions like Autism, Cerebral Palsy and Down Syndrome
It is an autonomous organization under the administrative and financial control of Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment, Government of India. The Institute for the Physically Handicapped came into being when the erstwhile Jawahar Lal Nehru Institute of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and other allied institution run by the council for the Aid of crippled & handicapped were taken over by the Government of India on 22nd May 1975 and converted into an autonomous body in the year 1976.

Nidaan

NIDDAN is an inclusive school based in Bhopal. Nidaan Institute of Rehabilitation and Training provides remedial intervention to children with special needs, especially those with learning disabilities, ADD/ADHD, Autism, Intellectual Disabilities, Hearing Impairment, Speech and Language Impairments and Development Delays. NIRT also provides programs for the enhancement of study skills and creative expression and training in National Institute of Open School (NIOS) Curriculum.They work in the areas of health i.e. Mental health. Mental health is not a priority as a health issue in any part of the world, more so in developing nations like India. NIDAAN thrust is twofold – one, to establish Mental health within the mainstream health paradigm of India and second, to ‘speak for’ a large population of people with mental illness and their right to a professional and inclusive system of care and treatment.
