Key Takeaways:

We are currently working on the key takeaways for this article. They will be available soon.

What is Dyslexia? Difficulty with learning to read or spell despite conventional instructions and adequate intelligence is called Dyslexia.

Reading is one of the most important skills a child needs to learn well. It is the foundation for building new skills, expanding knowledge and developing a sense of creativity. Reading doesn’t come easily to 1 in 10 children.

NOTE : As you check for signs and symptoms of learning disabilities in your child, please understand that these signs may vary from child to child. Every child is unique. No child will definitively exhibit all the symptoms. You can however aim to check if multiple signs described in the presentation above fit the characteristics exhibited by your child, in the event of which a case for a learning disability maybe suspected and assessed accordingly.

Take a moment to also explore and learn about other Learning Disabilities such as Dyspraxia, Dyscalculia and Dysgraphia.
