Dr. Anandi Ramakrishnan from Thrissur is a Special Educator. She works with children and adults with Autism, Down Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy and other intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Dr. Anandi Ramakrishnan has 25 years of experience in the field of education. she thought of starting a Therapy centre only for those kids who need our care, love, affection and understanding most. We need to understand what they try to tell us, their likes and dislikes etc, with this mission in mind, I started ARKS AUTISM THERAPY CENTRE. I do this as a service to the society. I charge very nominal fees of Rs 2500/ per month, Mon to Fri full time (9:45 AM to 3: 15 PM) from the able parents those who can afford, and from the poor students it’s free. As Palakkad is a rural place and awareness among the public about disabilities are not much, I do training for the mothers as well simultaneously. Out of 40 students 10 students are totally free of fees.
