Neuro Space is a therapy centre based in Margao, Goa. They work with people with Autism, Cerebral Palsy, Down Syndrome and other developmental and intellectual disabilities Counselling for children will help with problems relating to family – parent- child conflict, sibling rivalry; school -bullying, peer pressure, academic pressure; & adjustment, emotional regulation, social skills & self-esteem. Early Intervention will aim to prevent and reduce internalizing symptoms like excessive sadness, anxiety , psychosomatic symptoms & externalizing problems like tantrums, aggression, & conduct problems. Counselling will involve a child centered approach & ensure a safe space for children to express and process problems & emotions, & learn new skills to enhance autonomy & mastery. Play Therapy and Play based techniques will be used in the counselling process & will focus on building child’s strengths and empowering him/her to cope with & resolve issues.
