Preventive measures to prevent muscle atrophy with advancing age in children with Cerebral Palsy

If the muscle is not being used, it will not grow. This is called disused atrophy in individuals with Cerebral Palsy. Keep the individual’s muscles in motion through active or passive means. The more you use it the lesser will be the degree of atrophy.
