Nayi Disha organized a speech therapy workshop with speech therapist Tabitha Wolfe. The above video is on the OWL method to build language skills.

In the OWL method, O stands for Observe. One should observe what the child is interested in. W stands for Wait, you need to wait to give the child a chance to initiate or get involved in an activity. L stands for listening, you should try to listen to what your child is trying to tell you. This method helps you to understand your child deeper. This video helps you understand what is OWL method and how it helps to build language skills.

Other topics that were covered in the workshop involve, What is speech, language and communication? The attention bucket method to build communication skills, The importance of visuals in early development, Myth buster in speech development, and the Commonly asked questions by parents about speech therapy.
