Health care insurance policies have evolved a lot in favor of the PwDs after the Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India(IRDAI) issued the two recent circulars- Disclosure of philosophy by Insurers covering PWDs, 2020 and Guidelines on Standardization of Exclusions in Health Insurance Contracts, 2019.
