In the heart of Telangana, Nayi Disha and the Tech Mahindra Foundation have come together in a powerful partnership to support Persons with Disabilities (PwDs) and their families. This joint effort aims to address the various needs and challenges faced by PwDs across the state.

This collaboration has resulted in a resource, the “Empowering Caregivers & Individuals with Disabilities: A Comprehensive Guide for PwDs in Telangana.” This guide is more than just a booklet—it’s a friendly companion, making it easy for caregivers to find information about services, facilities, and rights available for PwDs in Telangana.

This repository is a rich source of information aiming to fill the information gap, support caregivers, and empower PwDs on their journey toward independence. It encompasses a wealth of details, including various government schemes tailored for PwDs, information about the Unique Disability ID (UDID) card, SADAREM card, different scholarships, allowances, and more. Through this comprehensive collection, the repository aims to be a one-stop source, offering accessible and relevant information to enhance the well-being and empowerment of PwDs and those involved in their care.

In essence, this collaboration promises to break down barriers and create an environment where everyone, regardless of ability, can thrive. Nayi Disha and the Tech Mahindra Foundation are not just providing a guide; they are working together to create a future where every individual’s potential is recognized and celebrated.

Acknowledgements: Gratitude to the countless individuals, Tech Mahindra Digital Studio and Foundation teams, and government officials whose steadfast support brought this knowledge repository booklet to life.
