Seizure do not cause Cerebral Palsy(CP). However, a child with CP may present seizures. Some seizure medications may cause some defects that may lead to intellectual disability in the fetus. Tell your doctor before planning your pregnancy so alternations and safe seizure medications may be prescribed.
