This video addresses challenges with speech, language and hearing concerns in children with Down syndrome.
What you hear is what you think…..
What you hear is what you understand….
What you hear is what you speak…..
It is thus very important that every child who has a speech concern to have their hearing evaluated before attempting speech therapy.
It is very often that in children with Down syndrome we tend to miss spotting a hearing loss because the loss is moderate.
