This is also possible for your child with special needs and it is our duty as parents to allow them to experience these natural processes to the extent that is possible.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h2>What can this process be like?<\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">As with other neurotypical children, children with additional needs may also at times face difficulties managing their periods. It may need certain lifestyle changes or medical attention.
