They are taught shapes, size, color names of familiar articles etc. More important they are taught self-help skills such as feeding, dressing, toileting etc, Secondary & Pre-voational Group: (Age 11 to 14 Yrs.) They both follow the same kind of curriculum more or less. They are taught practical reading, writing, number concept, knowledge of money and time imbibed in them to the extent of theie functional abilities. A general awareness of their immediate environment as various social skills are included in them as well, For Vocational Centre- Boys are taught Candle Making, Weaving, and Spinning etc. The girls use the cloth manufacturing into shopping bags, napkins, table mats etc. They not only sew but embroider as well. The vocational group is paid a stipend which helps them get a sense of purpose and responsibility."}
