What are early signs of Cerebral Palsy(CP)?

If a child is not walking by 15-16months it may be cause for concern to suspect CP, as it manifests itself through problems in movement.

Early signs of CP (Delayed motor milestones) –

  • Inability to roll over from abdomen to back by 3.5-4.5months
  • Inability to roll over from back to belly from 5.5-6months
  • Inability to sit independently after being made to sit by 7months
  • Inability to crawl forward by 8.5-9months
  • Inability to pull up to stand by 9.5-11months
  • Not taking steps by 13-15 months
