Do you have a child who is presenting seizures, or is there a child that you know of, who is presenting seizures?  When seizures frequently recur then it is termed as Epilepsy, which is a very common neurological problem today. We can fight it better if we learn more about it. A unique form of seizure affects children between age 6 months to 5 years. This form of seizure is common in the general population, may occur before or soon after the occurrence of fever. However, most parents must understand that aggressively controlling the fever will in no way prevent this congenital/genetic condition.
