2ND INDIA INTERNATIONAL DOWN SYNDROME CONFERENCE (IIDSC)

After the grand success of the international conference on Down syndrome held in 2017, the Down syndrome federation of India has announced the second ion of this conference that seeks to spread awareness about matters related to Down syndrome. The conference is open to all persons with Down syndrome, their families, doctors, therapists and people deeply involved in bringing the world a step closer to becoming more inclusive.   There are two options for registrations, as shown below  -  OPTION 1 :  IIDSC 2018 + Hamsafar meet held from 31st May to 2nd June 2018 - Includes stay for 3 nights at The Corinthians, Pune, inclusive of all 3 meals - Also includes entry for the Hamsafar meet which will take place after the conference - Cost is Rs. 16000/- FOR A FAMILY OF 3 – PARENTS AND A CHILD UNDER 10 YEARS OF AGE - For a family of 3 where the child/children are above 10 years, they have to pay Rs. 3000/- per day.  - THIS AMOUNT HAS TO BE PAID TO THE HOTEL AT THE TIME OF CHECK IN. HOTEL WILL BE INFORMED TO COLLECT THIS AMOUNT FROM THE DELEGATE DIRECTLY - Evening Passes would be provided for the Evening Humsafar Programs. - 100 rooms have been blocked for the event and will be provided on a FIRST COME FIRST SERVE BASIS. - Payments need to be made in advance to the Down Syndrome Association of Tamilnadu for allocation of rooms at the Corinthians. OPTION 2 : IIDSC 2018 – Only for Conference, held on 1st and 2nd of June 2018 - The COST IS RS. 4000/- PER PERSON FOR 2 DAYS - Delegates registering only for the conference ATTEND THE CONFERENCE ONLY AND HAVE TO LEAVE THE PREMISES BY 4 P.M WHEN THE CONFERENCE ENDS. **People are encouraged to select Option 1 if they want to be a part of the Hamsafar events too.** Deadline for Registration – 31 March 2018.
