Rakshita Shekhar is a Special Educator based in Hyderabad. She handles kids with intellectual and developmental disabilities like Autism, Down Syndrome and Cerebral Palsy

Selected Achievements

• A 7 year old child, who was displaying extreme aggression and violence in school, calmed down completely and began participating healthily in all school activities as a result of my intervention.
• A minimally verbal child who was regressing in his academics and engaging only in sketching and drawing the whole day, began scoring well in his academics.
• 1 teenager, who would mostly remain in the resource room, reluctant to attend class for several months, began enjoying full day school along with his peers.
