Yeast, which is normally present in controlled amounts in all our bodies, can turn harmful if their growth is left unchecked. High levels of yeast infections affect the body’s digestive system, before finally compromising the immune system.Such an infection can occur due to prolonged bouts of constipation and diaarhoea and further enhance constipation and diarrhoea in the child. Thus, yeast infections can cause an endless cycle of discomfort and digestive problems. This hinders the body’s nutritional uptake for the general growth and development of your child. Hence, it is important to be mindful of signs, symptoms and measures that can be taken to identify and address this common nutritional challenge.
